Alexis Osipow is a 2018 River Valley graduate who was at the ceremony to aid her young sister who was graduating.
“When he designed the comment that marriage must only be involving a gentleman and a woman, my jaw dropped to the floor, and I truthfully imagined I was listening to it incorrect,” Osipow explained.
“I had to appear all-around and see if other persons had been getting the same response that I was, and they have been. I felt like crying when I read some people today in the crowd clapping. But I was definitely outraged and so were being my parents and brother.”
