With the Bihar elections about a month away, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has unveiled his seven-point plan in his hopes to return to power.

Addressing the media, Kumar unveiled the ‘Saath Nischay Part 2’ (Seven Resolves Part 2) as a sequel to the seven-point agenda that won him the 2015 elections.

The plan focuses on female education, wider access to irrigation, skill-development centers, etc.

Plan: Girls to receive Rs. 25,000 upon clearing higher secondary exams

Kumar said, according to the plan, all girls clearing higher secondary exams will receive a sum of Rs. 25,000. Upon completing graduation, they will receive Rs. 50,000.

Holocaust museum unveils digital education resources

The goal is to educate young people about the atrocities, while promoting tolerance.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Florida’s Board of Education held its bi-monthly meeting in Tampa Bay at the Florida Holocaust Museum in St. Petersburg Wednesday.

The location was chosen because, in addition to discussing COVID-19 and other school related issues, the board also unveiled a new Holocaust education program.

Board members heard chilling words from Holocaust Survivor Toni Rinde, whose personal story is one of the many recorded resources now available online for teachers and students across the state of Florida.

“If our country is going to continue to advance and move in the right direction and avoid these horrible atrocities from history from ever happening again – education is vital,” said Board Member Ben Gibson.

California Unveils Plans for K-12 Anti-Racism Curriculum

California has decided to swipe left on y’all’s president’s threats to withhold funding from the state if it implements antiracism courses into its school curricula. On Monday, the Golden State unveiled plans to offer antiracist training to public school officials and students as well as mandatory ethnic studies courses for public schools.

Newsweek reports that California’s Department of Education defines the “Education to End Hate” initiative as a training program that aims to “empower educators and students to confront the hate, bigotry, and racism rising in communities across the state and nation.”

The initiative will offer educators $200,000 annually in mini-grants for receiving antiracism and bias training; allow students, educators, and families to attend a “virtual classroom series” to address modern-day discrimination and how to end it; and roundtable discussions between lawmakers, educators and prominent racial and social justice organizations

Nike China Unveils Stunning Animated Tribute To Kobe Bryant

Such was the esteem Kobe Bryant was held globally, China is the latest Nike territory to unveil a tribute to the basketball legend.

Bryant, 44, was tragically killed in a helicopter crash in Los Angeles in January, alongside his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, and seven other passengers.

Called “Dear Kobe”, Nike China’s spot is the work of creative agency Wieden+Kennedy Shanghai and director Francois Rousselet and the Mathematic animation team in Paris.

Set to a piano score, the spot juxtaposes young fans and athletes inspired by the legend with animated montages of his famous gameplay.
