Registration now open for YWCA adult-education classes | News

POTTSTOWN — Enrollment is open for the next 12-week session of adult basic education/adult secondary education (high school diploma) classes at YWCA Tri-County Area.

The classes are free to Pennsylvania residents 17 and older without a high school diploma who are not enrolled in any public or private post-secondary school.

Classes are Mondays through Thursdays in two locations: 724 N. Adams St., Pottstown, and 1430 DeKalb St., Norristown.

The next class session begins Oct. 5 and runs through Dec. 23.

YW’s adult education instructors are experienced and supportive, helping adults achieve their goals one step at a time, every step of the way. Students are tested upon enrollment so that instructors can best help them achieve their goals. Instructors and case managers work as a team to support students, helping them develop educational and career goals, and helping them overcome any barriers that may arise.
